The ultra low latency Solana ShredStream is enabled via our portal by default, with no subscription, no setup fee, and no shredstream proxy. Free Solana shreds start streaming on your first boot. If you do not have a DedicatedNodes server, LocalShred™ Lite is a separate free tier delivered at parity.

Solana ShredStream is a low latency stream of Solana shreds (the small data fragments that make up each block) delivered directly from the validators producing the block. It lets you see new block data milliseconds before it propagates over standard gossip.

Ultra low latency Solana shreds means receiving Solana shreds with the smallest possible delay between the validator emitting them and your server processing them. LocalShred™ achieves this with direct validator peering and an optimized internal Solana ShredStream distribution fabric.

In Amsterdam, LocalShred™ on DedicatedNodes hardware delivers Solana shreds approximately 3ms faster than Jito ShredStream. Direct peering plus an optimized internal path is what makes the ultra low latency Solana shreds advantage. LocalShred™ Lite is a separate free tier and is not this stream.
